The Research and Advocacy Program at Rosehope Foundation is a cornerstone of our mission to enhance the quality of life for all individuals in Nigeria. We work tirelessly to understand the needs of our communities and advocate for systemic change that ensures equitable access to caregiving services. Our program is built on four pillars: community engagement and sensitization, networking and building a community of practice, partnerships with civil societies and local organizations, and active engagement with state and non-state actors in policy and program development

Community Engagement and Sensitization
We begin our advocacy by reaching out to the communities we serve. Through workshops, seminars, and awareness campaigns, we educate and empower individuals to better understand caregiving, mental health, and the needs of those with disabilities. Our goal is to foster a more informed and compassionate society that values the dignity of all
Networking and Building a Community of Practice
Collaboration is key to driving systemic change. We build and nurture networks of caregivers, healthcare professionals, and civil society organizations, creating a vibrant community of practice. Together, we share resources, expertise, and best practices to elevate the standards of caregiving across the nation
Partnerships with Civil Societies and Local Organizations
Strategic partnerships amplify our impact. By working with local NGOs, civil society groups, and community organizations, we extend our reach and deepen our engagement. These collaborations allow us to address the unique challenges faced by different communities and create tailored solutions

Our advocacy extends to the halls of power. We actively engage with government agencies, policymakers, and international organizations to shape policies and programs that support high-quality caregiving.
